Society Presentations

There have been many complimentary comments made to us, by model engineers, about the level of technical help that they receive. This has occasionally been followed up with

''would you come to our club night and talk to us?''

''Yes''

It is seen as another way of raising the company profile and we are happy to do it if we can.

Forthcoming talks are at the Model Steam Road Vehicle Society in Gloucester April 19th 2010 and
Lincoln MES May 5th 2010

The informal talk lasts approx 100 minutes and covers the basic principles of brazing to achieve strong, leakfree joints. The talk also includes a brief history of the process, alloy development and selection, heating techniques and a few tips to make life easier for the model engineer.

All that is required for the presentation is an easel and a glass of water.

Any club based within a 100 mile (2 hour drive) radius of Chesterfield presents no problem.

Travelling expenses only.

Club officials can contact us via
