Society PresentationsThere have been many complimentary comments made to us, by model engineers, about the level of technical help that they receive. This has occasionally been followed up with
''would you come to our club night and talk to us?''
It is seen as another way of raising the company profile and we are happy to do it if we can.
Forthcoming talks are at
Northampton Society of Model Engineers Dec 11th 2012
South Cheshire MES May 5th 2013
The informal talk lasts approx 100 minutes and covers the basic principles of brazing to achieve strong, leakfree joints. The talk also includes a brief history of the process, alloy development and selection, heating techniques and a few tips to make life easier for the model engineer.
All that is required for the presentation is an easel and a glass of water.
Travelling expenses only. We would normally bring along alloys and fluxes for members to buy at exhibition prices.
Club officials can contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org
