Welcome to CuP Alloys - a company that sells nothing but silver solder and brazing materials.

The company is managed by Keith Hale B.Sc. Hons (Metall.). He first entered the brazing market in 1969 and has been a silver soldering specialist for some of the leading european suppliers including Johnson Matthey and Engelhard/Sheffield Smelting Co .

Silver solder, fluxes and copper-phosphorus alloys alloys made to ISO 17672 are supplied to general industry including automotive components, white goods, refrigeration and air conditioning companies.

Rod sizes are 0.7, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5mm dia all 500mm long.

Wire 0.5, 0.7 and 1.0mm dia available by the metre.

Refrigeration companies and general engineering companies benefit from the small packs of silver solder bare and flux-coated rod.

Suitable fluxes are available to cover all applications. Materials are available ex stock and are despatched world wide at very competitive prices. They are ideal for the model maker, amateur silversmith, jobbing engineer, anyone who requires just small quantities by the metre or by the rod.

They also offer a range of gas torches to suit all applications. These include Sievert propane torches and a small oxy-gas torch.
Industries served include refrigeration, and air conditioning.

Batch traceability and certificates of conformity on all materials are readily available.

Other products include firebricks, plates and insulating blankets to use the heat more efficiently and speed up the brazing process.

Silver Solder
All alloys are made using only pure virgin metals to ensure top quality brazing characteristics.
This is particularly relevant to meet the specifications of cadmium free silver solder.

All materials are manufactured in Spain by a company with ISO 9001 accreditation for their quality management system relating to the manufacture of brazing materials. (Certificate No. E202200)

Some larger and better known suppliers do not have that approval for manufacturing alloys.

Copper Brazing Alloys
Again all materials are made using only pure virgin metals to ensure top quality brazing characteristics.
They are used for the fluxless brazing of copper in air. Equally they can be used to join copper alloys when used with a flux.

Silver Free Alloys - phosphorus content between 6 and 8%

Silver Bearing Alloys 1 - 15% silver

Availability 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0mm section round or square.
